CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates

Fara is the Program Manager of the CASA of Amador and Calaveras Programs. Fara grew up locally in the Sierra Foothills and started working with CASA programs while attending college.  Fara was part of starting the San Joaquin County CASA Program and the Calaveras Program. The Amador and Calaveras Programs merged in 2017 with Nexus Youth & Family Services as the umbrella organization. In her years with the CASA of Amador and Calaveras Programs, Fara has served 15 children as an advocate.
